Q:
I hear a lot of talk about proper "prop" selection. What should I know about how Pacific Expedition goes about this complicated task?

A:
Matching props/wheels to the details of the boats is part of maximizing a yacht to an owners needs. While most the details are worked out as averages and to a mid point, it's not practical that one specific diameter/pitch is the best at low speed and at top speed. Those parameters generally create brackets within which we match up the props. We expect that individual owners may have a bias in their usage of the boat towards range or to overall speed so it may vary a bit with their wishes.
